Kim Ouellette: New Works

Kim Ouellette’s new body of paintings of sumi ink and acrylic on canvas are fluid and rhythmic compositions of patterns, shapes and color. The artist states these works represent acts of improvisation through a formal language that strives for a figurative cohesion short of representation.

Kim Ouellette was born in Winnipeg, Canada and has lived in Atlanta since 2004. She has exhibited in galleries and institutions in Canada, Scotland and the U.S. since 1985.
